Updates... (long)

Okay, if you read my previous journal entry, you'd know I'm working on a short novelish story. Having recently read a short story I found somewhere on the net that is better in every conceivable way than mine, I've decided to stop writing new chapters temporarily (Don't worry, I have it all outlined) while I patch up what's already there.

The shortness of the chapters is intentional; they exist only to separate viewpoints. Chapter 1, for instance, is from Chaos' point of view. Chapter 2 is not.
However, it probably wouldn't hurt to add more description and detail, invest more in the location, etc. In the first chapter, for instance, unless you're good at guessing, you don't even know Chaos is on a starship until the second paragraph. (It's actually a research ship... Go figure...)

So I'm investing more into the quality of the story. It's my tribute to Chaos' "Gods of Eden" comic, after all.

I've known about deviantART for quite some time now, but I hesitated in joining because I've never viewed myself as an artist. However, I've recently begun developing skills of the artistic persuasion, and now feel confident that I won't make a fool of myself here.

gamachaos and randomjester, the Gods of Eden author and coauthor, both at one point (Jest at several) told me to join - my first deviation will be a 'filler comic' I created during the Time Of No Comics right after Jest moved away.

Eventually, I hope to have a subseries for GoE - refer gamachaos' first 'Gods of Eden' comic. The war between the Elder Gods and the Dragons will be the subseries. It has already been given the seal of approval by Chaos himself. Until then, and I apologise in advance, please content yourselves with this filler comic and the MSN custom emoticons I'll be posting later.
